The ERC Has Changed!

Hello Raiders!

We can’t wait to see you back and in action here at Riv! The summer has been very busy with back of the house projects, many of which were based on feedback we received in the library survey last winter. One of these changes is a big alteration┬áto the ERC General Collection Area and Quiet Study.

You’ll notice the room has been completely shifted, with the Juvenile Nonfiction books facing you as you walk in and the General Collection wrapping along the outer wall and into the inner stacks. If this is confusing at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out to library staff to assist you!

We were also able to add two thin client PC computers to the Quiet Study area, expanding it as much as the space would allow. There are now four computers tucked safely away behind the stacks, where you can find some peace and quiet from the sometimes boisterous main room.

We truly hope that these changes will make your experience at the ERC even better than before, and offer our sincere thanks for the feedback that made it possible.

Enjoy the last days of summer everyone! See you soon!
